A novena is a prayer that takes place over 9 consecutive days- I encourage you all to pray this before your wedding, or before others weddings!
Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for the gift of marriage. Help us to recognize the sacred nature of this gift as we prepare to celebrate the Sacrament of Matrimony uniting (brides name) and (grooms name). Grant that they may seek to reflect the love that You have for Your church by their sincere and sacrifice love for each other. Give them the grace to live Your Great Commission together. May they be pure in their hearts, chaste in their bodies, and generous in service to You and one another, so that the love they have for each other may truly imitate the love with which You laid down Your life for you Bride, the Church.
